The Shawnee Business Council has approved relief payments of $1500. Payment applications will go out to Shawnee citizens that are 18 and older who meet the guidelines, fill out the application, and meet the deadlines.

Citizens who wish to vote by mail must request an absentee ballot by Friday, September 1, and voted absentee ballots must be returned to the Election Committee by Thursday, September 14.
